Controversy continues in Tampa, Florida public schools. A high school teacher was recently discovered inviting a terrorist sympathizer to give pro-Islamic lectures in her classroom over the last three years.
The speaker, Hassan Shibly was from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a group with known ties with the violent Muslim Brotherhood. Their stated goal is to impose Islam on America by sabotaging the United States. Shibly is on record standing up for the terrorist organization Hezbollah and defended a radical Imam who was killed after shooting at members of the FBI.
CAIR allege that Shariah law is just like the Catholic canon law or the Jewish Halacha law. Yet, neither of these authorizes lying, breaking vows, child abuse, violence towards women, or polygamy like Islamic law does. CAIR has also continued to defend positions that are considered contrary to our national security.
No group with known associations to terrorism should be allowed in any public school for any reason.
We asked you to contact the school board and demand Shibly or any other Muslim Brotherhood affiliated groups be banned. But a defiant School Board Chairman, Candy Olsen, defended allowing extremists in the classroom because of her view of multiculturalism.
Are we going to allow other groups in on the basis of multiculturalism, such as the Hells Angels or the Ku Klux Klan?

Thank you for this follow up piece. I previously contacted the Hillsborough County School Board as requested to complain and lodge a protest, hoping school board officials would strongly react by dismissing this teacher rather than defending her actions, extremely disappointed in that response. I also contacted my Florida state representative with the information, hoping for his interest and involvement. I will also contact each of the officials listed above (also praying to God for HIS involvement in ending this forced tax-payer funded outrage!).
Islam is a religion, just as Christianity, or Buddhism, or Hinduism, humanism, etc., are religions. Public schools have long said that no religion should be taught in school. And Jihad is supposed to be good? Christianity teaches forgiveness of sins through faith in a Savior, Jesus Christ. Does Allah forgive sin? Do Moslems lives change when they become true followers of God? Do they love their neighbors as themselves? Even if their neighbor is a Jewish person or a Christian person?
