Christians murdered in PakistanIn Pakistan, Pastor Rashid Emmanuel and his brother, Sajid, were arrested after they allegedly published pamphlets that made blasphemous remarks about Muhammad. The families have maintained their innocence and even the minister of minority affairs says the men were falsely accused. Blasphemy is a crime punishable by death under Pakistani law, but it is only enforced when Muslims claim to be offended.

As the police were transporting the brothers from the courthouse, Pastor Emmanuel and Sajid were killed by a masked gunman who then escaped the scene and is still at large. For Christians to be murdered while in police custody is an outrage.

The State Department just announced Pakistan will receive five hundred million dollars of US foreign aid.

TAKE ACTION:

Help us urge the State Department to insist Pakistan change the way it treats Christians, or else cut off the foreign assistance.
