Yesterday, ministers from across the country joined Dr. Gary Cass in a rally to protect the religious free speech of all
In the new law Pastors could be arrested for preaching the whole Bible. Title 18 of the United States Code, regarding accessories to crime, states: "Whoever commits an offense against the United States or aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures its commission, is punishable as a principal."
This unconstitutional law creates a fear in pastors to not preach the truth about the sin of homosexuality.
"If this law is used to silence me or any of these preachers for speaking the truth, then we will be forced to conscientiously defy it," Rick Scarborough, from Vision America, declared at the rally. "That is my calling as a Christian and my right as an American citizen."
Matt Staver, of Liberty Council, also wrote a letter, presented at the rally, to Attorney General Holder in which he cites the dangers and unconstitutionality of this new law.
“The event was a great success. The Lord was honored, truth was proclaimed, and we are grateful for the many people who came and supported our effort. We look forward to challenging this law in the future.”
