A new television and online campaign shows a variety of people living as homosexuals encouraging other’s to come out claiming “It Get’s Better,” and that there hopeful future for those who live as homosexuals. But, unfortunately, the facts tell a very different story.

Foundational Truths
God created human beings “in His image” as male and female complementary halves of one whole and designed human civilization to rest upon the foundation of the natural family, protected by the covenant of marriage. It is a lie that people are born homosexual and that the incidence of homosexuality is unaffected by influences from culture, family, peer socialization, and incremental choices. It is a lie that homosexual conduct is not a choice. Although same-sex attraction may be involuntary, one’s response to it is completely voluntary. All sex is voluntary except rape. Further, all people have the obligation to resist temptations, no matter how strong, that lead to personal and social harms.
It is a lie that homosexuality is equivalent to heterosexuality. We are all heterosexuals by definition, but each of us has the choice to indulge in any number of types of sexual behavior that deviate from the way we are made. It is a lie that homosexuality is equivalent to race or skin color. General Colin Powell said it best: “Skin color is a benign, non-behavioral characteristic. It is a lie that disapproval of voluntary homosexual acts is equivalent to racism. The specious equating of moral disapproval with racism is based on the erroneous and baseless comparison of homosexuality to race.
It is a lie that opposing homosexuality equals hate. The accusation of hate is a cynical tactic designed to intimidate conservatives from speaking the truth about a form of conduct that spreads disease and is linked to numerous physical and psychological disorders. We all have a stake in this issue, and most of us care about homosexuals as people even while opposing their actions, just as we do with alcoholics, bulimics and others who suffer from behavioral disorders. I find it sad how people have over the last century slowly accept it as normal like putting a goldfish in water and slowly bowling it where the goldfish never felt the change happen till it was to late.
To consider homosexually as a race is short of laughable.
A Case against Homosexual Practice

Homosexual practice is an indication that a culture is about to die. We need to intercede for the United States and to educate people about this dangerous and destructive practice. Please pass this information to friends and family.
1. The Bible teaches that homosexual practice is a sin. In ancient Israel, the penalty for sodomy was death:
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13, KJV).
Likewise, the New Testament declares homosexuality to be a sin:
“Ever since God created the world, his invisible qualities, both his eternal power and his divine nature, have been clearly seen; they are perceived in the things that God has made. So those people have no excuse at all! They know God, but they do not give him the honor that belongs to him, nor do they thank him. Instead, their thoughts have become complete nonsense, and their empty minds are filled with darkness. They say they are wise, but they are fools; instead of worshiping the immortal God, they worship images made to look like mortals or birds or animals or reptiles. And so God has given those people over to do the filthy things their hearts desire, and they do shameful things with each other. They exchange the truth about God for a lie; they worship and serve what God has created instead of the Creator himself, who is to praised forever! Amen. Because they do this, God has given them over to shameful passions. Even the women pervert the natural use of their sex by unnatural acts. In the same way the men give up natural sexual relations with women and burn with passion for each other. Men do shameful things with each other, and as a result they bring upon themselves the punishment they deserve for their wrongdoing. Because those people refuse to keep in mind the true knowledge about God, he has given them over to corrupted minds, so that they do the things that they should not do. They are filled with all kinds of wickedness, evil, greed, and vice; they are full of jealousy, murder, fighting, deceit, and malice. They gossip and speak evil of one another; they are hateful to God, insolent, proud, and boastful; they think of more ways to do evil; they disobey their parents; they have no conscience; they do not keep their promises, and they show no kindness or pity for others. They know that God’s law says that people who live in this way deserve death. Yet, not only do they continue to do these very things, but they even approve of others who do them” (Romans 1:20-32, Today’s English Version).
In this passage of scripture, the Apostle Paul is commenting on a degenerate society. The practicing homosexuals mentioned here are hardened, sociopathic people. Paul’s intention was to redeem humanity, not condemn humanity. It is plain that some of Paul’s converts had been practicing homosexuals, but were now forgiven and healed:
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, New International Version).
2. Homosexual practice is morally wrong.
This is the traditional Catholic, Jewish and Protestant stand. Islam executes homosexuals.
3. The practice of sodomy is illegal in many states.
There were valid reasons for passing these laws!
4. Homosexual practice is irrational and medically counterindicated. David Reuben, MD, in his book, Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Sex, and renown Psychologist John Drakeford, EdD, in his book, Forbidden Love, present irrefutable evidence. Drakeford also demonstrates scientifically and through his Integrity Therapy groups that homosexuals can be cured—I have seen this firsthand. Apparently some professionals who do not know how to treat them say that it is impossible to cure them. Some professionals redefine the practice of homosexuality as being normal. This is a copout and it keeps homosexuals in bondage to a destructive lifestyle. The average lifespan of a homosexual man who does not contract AIDS is 42 years versus the average lifespan of all men being 75 years! The average lifespan of a lesbian woman is 45 years versus the average lifespan of all women being 81 years! (Source of statistics: Family Research Institute as quoted by Dr. D. Psychologically, men and women are designed to complement each other, but both can be malconditioned sexually. Homosexuality is one type of malconditioning. According to Dr. John Drakeford, Human sexuality is malleable. Young children are especially vulnerable.
5. Homosexuals gravitate to younger sex objects, thereby malconditioning a new generation and reproducing themselves psychologically in others.
The victims become the victimizers.
Although only about 3 percent of the population of the United States is homosexual, this percentage could quickly rise if lawmakers remove the restraint on pedophiles and homosexuals. (The former 10 percent American homosexual figure came from faulty extrapolation).
6. Homosexual practice destroys the basic unit of society—the family.
The family is needed to procreate and to serve as a safe, loving, nurturing place for children. God instituted the family when he created Adam and Eve. Children need both father and mother to develop properly psychologically.
7. HIV was primarily spread in our society through male homosexuals.
According to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 250,000 cases of AIDS were reported through September 1992. In cases reported through 1991, the CDC reports this is how people contracted HIV:
64% Practicing Male Homosexuals (6% injected drugs also)
23% Injecting Drug Users
6% Practicing Heterosexuals
4% Undetermined
2% Blood, Blood Components or Tissue Recipients
1% Hemophiliacs/Those with Coagulation Problems
8. The cost in money is prohibitive.
It will cost about 200,000 dollars to treat each AIDS patient, and 3 billion dollars have already been spent in treating AIDS patients. (These statistics are probably low.)
9. Practicing homosexuals still can be blackmailed and thus they become a security threat to the nation.
10. Those who support the practice of sin in any form are not contending with people, but with God himself.
This is just plain stupid and morally insane. Here are some who have taken a stand against God and the Bible:
The homosexual press.
For the last thirty years or so, the homosexual press In America has used techniques similar to what Paul Joseph Gobbels and Elizabeth Noelle used when they wrote Nazi propaganda for Das Reich, a popular German newspaper. A lie, repeated often enough by authoritative figures, will eventually be believed. Noelle insists that public opinion tends to conform to the purported majority view.
The Media.
The lie that the homosexual press began has been taken up by the United States media. We have seen this “bandwagon theory” work here in the United States, as well as in Nazi Germany.
Television Evangelists.
We have been duped into believing that Television Evangelists who openly identify themselves as “TV Evangelists” are the only religious evangelists on television. However, some prominent TV Evangelists are network executives, TV news anchors and actors. Also, newspapers and radio are laden with alien religion.
They preach a metaphysics—a religion that is usually Secular Humanism. By simply not mentioning Christianity or Judaism they teach atheism by default. God is largely ignored except when his name is taken in vain.
From their atheistic metaphysical presupposition flows their epistemology (philosophy of the nature of knowledge or truth). By rejecting the scriptures as the Word of God, anything they conveniently choose becomes “truth” to them.
From their epistemology follows their axiology—their values. Axiology is subdivided into aesthetics and ethics. Aesthetics is the study of the nature of beauty or art. Ethics is the study of what is right and wrong. Enough remnants of Judeo-Christian values are retained in their degenerate religion to enable it to function. Their degenerate values continue to corrupt their captive audience.
The National Endowment of the Arts.
The National Endowment of the Arts has sponsored legitimate art but it has also sponsored repulsive and immoral “art.” The NEA has preached negative “ethics” and taught by example such socially destructive practices as adultery, stealing, lying, murder, abortion and homosexuality. “Art” has been used as a medium to attack Christianity and the very moral fiber that holds our nation together.
Congress chartered the NEA. It should revoke it.
Planned Parenthood.
Dr. Fredrick Jaffe, past President of Planned Parenthood, wrote a memo in 1969. He made several proposals to reduce fertility:
1. Encourage increased homosexuality.
2. Modify tax policies [that would penalize marriage by instituting a] substantial marriage tax.
3. [Create] employment opportunities for women outside the home.

PBS—State-run television and radio.
Much of PBS programming is anti-Christian. PBS has shown soft pornography, supported homosexuality, preached political correctness and omitted Christian programming. Most of the programming is liberal. Some programming is fair except for the atheistic message. The underlying religion is Secular Humanism. The Supreme Court identified secular humanism as a religion in Torcaso v. Watkins, 367 U S 488 (1961). The Secular Humanists also state that they are a religion.
You and I as taxpayers have been forced to subsidize PBS—this is unconstitutional—a violation of the First Amendment. In the past 27 years, PBS has received about $3 billion in government appropriations. In addition, the 1,080 public television and radio stations have received prime frequency allocations and exclusive monopoly broadcast licenses worth $5 billion dollars. They have also received hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants for studios and broadcast equipment. The ACLU.
Roger Nash Baldwin (1884-1981), along with others, founded the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in 1920. He served as the director of the ACLU. Baldwin visited Russia and also published a collection of revolutionary pamphlets written by Russian anarchist Prince Pyotr Alekseyevich Kropotkin. Prince Pyotr Alekseyevich Kropotkin was an anarchistic Communist.
“Anarchism [is a] political theory that is opposed to all forms of government. Anarchists believe that the highest attainment of humanity is the freedom of individuals to express themselves, unhindered by any form of repression or control from without. They hold that the perfection of humanity will not be attained until all government is abolished and each individual is left absolutely free. …. Persons who profess or advocate anarchism are denied admission to the United States by a federal law enacted in 1902″ (Microsoft® Encarta® Encyclopedia 2002).
If the ACLU is anarchistic, then according to the federal law enacted in 1902, members of the ACLU should be deported. Is the abolition of government the “freedom” that the ACLU promotes? Is it Marxist? Marxism is a form of atheism. Note that Karl Marx stated in his later years, “I am not a Marxist.” If the founder renounced his own godless ideology, why do Marx’ followers not renounce it?
The ACLU declares its support for abortion, child pornography, homosexual practice and the abolition of Christianity. The ACLU is misusing law to further its agenda.
The National Education Association.
The NEA is pro-homosexual and anti-Christian. The NAE has failed to teach our children the basic academic skills and it has failed to give our children essential character training. Dr. Bill Bennett documented this. In fact, Homosexual activists are now using the public school system to recruit our most precious treasures—our children—as homosexuals. Planned Parenthood is teaching our children to be promiscuous. Congress chartered the NEA. It should revoke it.
Conclusion.
In conclusion, homosexual practice destroys both homosexuals and normal people. Thank God, he can and wants to deliver all of us from the bondage of sin. Sometimes attempting to reason with practicing homosexuals (who become extremely angry and oftentimes abusive), I need as many authoriative sources for factual information I can obtain. While God’s Word and His laws are my foundation, arming oneself with practical and medical facts/statistics is a good idea.
What about the psychological health of homosexuals. A dear friend of mine committed suicide because he repressed his homosexual desires, attended church regularly, but could not reconcile the hate hurled at him with what he wanted to believe and how he felt.
